Woke up, and after talking to Denise and Frederik, I learned that there was a huge windstorm last night. Hmm. Didn't hear anything. :P Got ready, and then Denise and I left for Nice. Had a good talk along the way, and there. We visited the markets and the old city, and the Christmas market that was up. But, the weather in Nice was hot. 20 degrees Celcius (almost 70 Fahrenheit). So, picture going to a Christmas market in that weather, with palm trees and such around. Yeah. Not a Christmas feel. But they had a little ice skating rink up, which was pretty funny.
We then tried to go to Cannes, but the traffic was horrid, so we just went home to Tourtour. There, it was still windy, and like 7 Celcius (~45 F). Big change. Read some of my book, and then we had dinner - hamburgers! I was surprised - they planned it without me knowing. Then, after talking more, we watched two discs of this series about someone in the British Navy during the French Revolutionary Wars. Great so far.
Anyway, gotta get some good sleep tonight - New Years Eve tomorrow! Slaapwel!
